[SOLVED] Do i need extra cables for new SSD ?

My hdd died,do i need extra cables for new ssd (samsung 860evo) as far as i know hdd is using sata cables as well.It says that my mother asrock h81m-vg4 r3.0 supports :

2 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s Connectors, support NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug
2 x SATA2 3.0 Gb/s Connectors, support NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug

How do i know which one im using atm,and does it matter between those two ?

It should show you which is which in the MB manual.

...and you shouldn't need more cables if the SSD is going to be the only drive.

If you're replacing the HDD< no new cables needed for a regular SATA III SSD.
Use the existing ones.
