I need help in building my custom PC, do I need extra cooling for it to function properly?
Specs:
Asus ROG Strix Z270F Gaming motherboard.
Nvidia GTX1080 ROG Strix A8G 8GB GDDR5.
Kingston 16GB DDR4 RAM.
Intel i7-7700.
Kingston 240GB SSD M.2
Seagate 2TB 7200rpm HDD
Case: CoolerMaster RC-K282 KWN1

Solution
Shouldn't do. Usually you only need further upgrades if you're overclocking. Asus ROG Strix has a good cooling mechanism, and CPU stock coolers have improved a lot in recent months. Stock CPU cooler is pretty much always fine as long as you're not overclocking and you can maintain cool air flow through the case.

Generally if you're not overclocking, stock cooling is usually always fine when put in correctly. As long as your case has cool air flow coming in from the bottom and exhausting out from the top (which I'm sure the CoolerMaster RC-K282 KWN1 already has those case fans installed).
