Question Do I need extra cooling for this setup?

Hi all,

I'm buying a new gaming PC, and I'm at the point where I'm looking at cooling. I've been able to choose every other component by doing research and talking to my computer scientist SO, but I haven't been able to determine if the parts I've picked will require any additional cooling. I'm buying a prebuilt machine, so my options are limited and I don't know the exact makes of some parts. However, here's what I can tell you:

• Processor: i7 8700
• Memory: 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 @ 2666MHz
• Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
• Hard Drive: 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD

Additional:

• The tower will probably reside in a cabinet in my desk with good airflow in the front and somewhat more limited airflow on the other sides. I do have the option of putting it on top of my desk as well, though would strongly prefer not to
• I do not have AC, but I do live in a basement apartment on a street with lots of shade in a fairly temperate part of the world (record high is about 33 Celsius, average in the mid/low 20s in July/August)
• I have pets, so the air intake being clogged by hair could be a concern
• I do not plan on overclocking any of my components

As long as the exhaust air can exit freely either form the top or back then you'll be fine. If this is going in a cabinet then if possible leave the back open so the rear exhaust fan on the case and blow the majority out the back.
