So I've completed my build and bought all of my parts, and now I'm just waiting for the CPU to come in (Amazon screwed the order up so now it's coming in last). It occured to me, though, that I didn't have any extra fans for my case. Here's my parts list :

Total: $1555.79

Would I need any extra fans for this? I don't plan on overclocking until a few years down the road, but I will be playing a lot of games on the highest settings, and I'm afraid of overheating. I would rather be safe than sorry on this one.

It would be advisable to get some extra case fans just to keep air flow up and ambient temperature down, there's nothing cooling your motherboard really, and since there's a hardworking chipset on it, them board is bound to get warm/hot. I would advise just 1-2 more fans in your case optimised for air flow, so in the front, have them dragging air in, and at the back, pushing air out. This will make the inside of your case a kind of air tunnel!

got u 3 extra case fans :) the rest looks good.

also changed your ram for when u overclock :)

I would use the fans that come with the case for now. Once you have it assembled , if your motherboard and CPU temperatures are above 30-35 C, then you need to improve the cooling with either new fans or extra fans. By that time you will also have an idea how loud the OEM fans are. If they are too loud, consider some good PWM 120mm fans.
