Do I need extra fans?

I'm fairly new to pc building and needed to know whether this build would need extra fans or not?

That case doesn't include any intake fans which you will want. Right now your case will recirculate already expelled hot air directly back into the case, not the best way to keep it cool. On top of that it will have a lot of dust build up from sucking air into the case from all points. Ideally you will want 2x 140mm fans on the front. Make sure the bearings on the fans are not "sleeve" bearings. Ball bearings or fluid dynamic, etc... are the best idea.

Thanks, glad I asked now. Can you recommend some fairly cheap ones for me please?

You should be able to move the top fan to the front blowing in and be fine.

If you going to add more buy 2X 140mm and put in the front blowing in.

On a side note a mATX board looks dinky in a mid tower to me.

Thanks, does the motherboard being small create any problems? And what would you recommend instead?

Move the top fan to the front and the extra fan also gets mounted in the front both blowing in.
