Okay I just wanted to make this real quick if I have a


cpu

gpu

psu

mobo

storage

case

OS

optical drive

will I need cords or anything or will the stuff come with what I need?

You should have everything you need , just make sure your motherboard comes with enough sata cables for your storage and optical drives.

How to connect SATA? Just like connecting anything else, find plug, find cord. X-)

see if there are any youtube videos for your motherboard, if you find an in-depth overview (e.g. neweggTV) it might just tell you where to plug each and every cable in.

other than that, grab your motherboard manual and find the page/section that shows all the connectors
