Do I need fans in my custom built PC?

Im getting my parts together and was wondering if i need fans? Or does the case come with it Ill be using the Fractal Design 3000 3.0 case and the Corsair Carbide 300r windowed cases.

Case comes with pre installed fans but you can add more if you feel it need more airflow.
