I have a GTX 1070, and I am looking to buy a 1440p/144hz monitor. I don't have a lot of options, since where I live there really arent many stores selling high-end monitors. Websites like Amazon, newegg etc doesn't work either, since most of the items don't ship overseas at affordable prices.
I have a good deal with a local store though, for the BENQ XL2730.

As you can see, this monitor has freesync and not gsync, so I was wondering if gsync is something I would really need on a 1440p/144hz monitor using a 1070.
