Do i need Intel HD Graphics installed when i have a gtx580

Just curious, i got myself a new PC and i noticed it had Intel HD Graphics installed, when it also has a 580. Is the HD graphics actually needed to be installed on my PC or not?

Your cpu has built in intel hd graphics. There shouldn't be anything to install, because this is the igp in your cpu.
