Do i need Intel Management Engine Driver ? System works fine without it .

hi . Guys i got tired of searching for an answer about this one . many people have asked about this and none have got proper answer . Intel Doesn't fully explain what it does and what it doesn't ?

all i know from searching is that this driver is required only if you want to remotely manage your computer .

Every system works fine with or without this driver . But does it affect overall system performance ( either Positively or negatively ) ? by allowing CPU to work better or something no one knows about ? or even slowing the system down by running unneeded services that home users dont need ?

i'm just a gamer . and all i care about is performance .

Please Answer this so People don't have to endlessly search with no answer .

short but Great answer . just a few more questions if you don't mind

1.Not installing this driver will show Yellow exclamation mark in device manager on simple communication device . when i disable it , it comes back again after system restart . should i disable it via Bios to get rid of that simple communication device and its exclamation mark ?

2.Does it do anything but remote management ?

3.Can i Get Rid of Intel Rapid Storage driver too ? im not using Raid or ssd . and i don't care if file transfer is a little bit faster with this driver installed .

4.Intel Chipset Driver : what about this one ? does Windows 8.1 come with older version of this driver if i dont install the most recent one from Intel's ? or its another Driver that i don't need and windows does not install this by default ?

If a yellow exclamation mark appears then that means you need to download intel management driver. Otherwise it's not needed.

It usually comes with your motherboard drivers but if not you can install the intel ones.
