I built a new pc without keyboard or graphics card (they are being delivered). I have onboard graphics.

After putting everything together and starting the computer, I get 1 short beep and the screen is black but you can see the cursor for about 1 second before it disappears. The screen remains black. My monitor is receiving an input but its just a black screen. I tried using 1 ram stick, tried without my ssd and nothing. So the problem is one of the following:
-CPU
-Motherboard
-PSU
-No keyboard.
Thank you

I can't get into bois, my screen remains black. I am trying to get into bios.

But it doesn't say press (key) to enter bios anywhere, is that normal?

yes mate thats normal. you wont be able to set the boot order in bios without a keyboard.
likely the boot order is skipping the keyboard so wont ask to press any key. this will also have the effect of skipping the dvd boot option as the primary boot and jump to the hdd which has no o.s and lno partitions (so is raw).
end result no boot device found so flashing cursor in the top left corner.

if your gonna be waiting a few days for the keyboard then maybe a trip to your local supermarket and pick up a cheap 5er keyboard will get you started.
(its always worth while to keep a cheap keyboard lying around)

Thank you, Ill pick one up first thing tomorrow 😀

It just goes straight to 'reboot and select proper media or insert boor media in selected boot device and press a key'

Maybe amazon sent me a broken ssd?

no mate its telling you you your drives are raw.
basically it cant find a proper boot device. enter bios and find the boot order.
select the dvd rom as the primary boot. the ssd as secondary and the hdd as the 3rd.
put the windows disk in the dvd drive and then save and quit bios.
you should get a message saying boot off disk. press a key.
press any key and windows installer should start. select fresh install and then carry on till you get the windows drive setup utility.
select each drive and create new partitions on each.
install windows on the ssd.

I installed windows on my ssd using my laptop because I cannot enter the BIOS set up, now it makes sense 😛
I tried pressing delete, which is what the manual says, also I pressed other keys and it doesn't work. There isn't a gigabyte logo or anything. Straight to windows.
Right now I am using the computer and it seems to work fine but maybe I need BIOS or chipset update or something?

Gigabyte z97p-d3

There was never an option to enter BIOS setup or the gigapyte logo. At first it goes straight to my blank hard drive now it goes straight to windows.

I have cleared CMOS. I haven't been in BIOS settings before so I couldn't have changed any settings.

Maybe a chipset/motherboard update is needed? I heard they aren't recommended though.
