Do I need more power?

I have built a pc my first build. I originally had the EVGA 500W bronze certified 80+ psu. My PC worked but the PC was getting very hot and it smelt a bit like it was overheating. So I didn't want to risk using so I have sold it. So no I am in the situation of deciding how much power I need and what brand to go with. My budget is around £50-£60. Here's my build:-

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Memory: Crucial 8GB DDR3 1333 MT/s CL9 @1.5V Ballistix Sport UDIMM 240 Pin Memory Module
Storage: My 350gb storage from old pc
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 280X 3GB TWIN FROZR Video Card
And an old optical drive from my old PC.

u need atleats 600 W.. GO FOR EITHER SEASONIC OR CORSAIR AND IF YOU'RE NOT SURE FOR THE CORSAIR GO FOR COOLER MASTER OR ANTEC WHICH WILL FIT IN YOUR CASE PERFECTLY.
