[SOLVED] Do i need more RAM?

So my rig is:

AMD R7 3700x
AMD Radeon Gigabyte 5700xt
Currently RAM:16 GB 3000hz

Is that 1x16gb or 2x8gb? For gaming 16gb is plenty.

1x16gb but ive seen many people say that i need at least 32gb for this hardware to operate

You don’t need 32gb for a gaming system. A bigger problem is using a single stick of RAM which limits you to single channel, you want 2 sticks so it can run in dual channel which doubles the memory bandwidth.

However RAM is best to be bought in matched kits. Mixing RAM bought separately even if you use the same make and model can cause issues. Often it works ok but there is a chance of issues.
