Hey guys i just got finished my build a few days ago, i have a question though, everyone says more fans are better but i have one case fan at the front that came with the case, and i put one on exhaust fan on the back, now i just bought another fan and i put it at the top of my case and its fairly loud because its connected to the psu now my question is do i need the top fan, before i put in the top fan my temps were 29-35 idling and when on games about 40-50, and i am still idling at the same temp with this new top fan so do i need it?

my computer specs are

i5 2500k
8gbs of ram ( upgrading to 16gb)
His Amd Raedon 6770
asus p67 motherboard
600w power supply

Any 80/90mm fans will be noisy; they need to spin too fast to get any worthwhile cooling.

I see that the case has an optional spot for a 140mm intake fan. If you ever needed more cooling, I would put a 900-1000 rpm 140mm fan in front.

But, really, you have answered your own question. You get adequate cooling without any extra fans.
Your temps are good. No real need for the fan unless your temps under load are high.
Do not worry too much about your parts, They are designed to slow down if necessary to protect themselves from damaging temperatures. I think you are far from that point.

What case do you have?

If there is room, I would prefer to have two intake fans.

If a fan is too noisy, there are ways to undervolt it.

One way is to use a cheap zalman fanmate.
