I know it is a dumb question right? But I want to add one of my LED fans to my heatsink and it is a screw in method attachment only. I see the ones the come with heatsink either have a silver bracket or plastic built on to the fan to attach it to the heatsink. I have a hyper evo 212. I looked for fans like this and they only seem to sell the heatsink with the fans. I would like to use mine or get an RGB fan. The heatsinks with RGB that I found and are quality are way too big and bulky. Thank you

You can use any fan you like. Maybe see the Be Quiet pure rock slim from www.ebay.com It's the best budget processor cooler out there. See YouTube on how to install it.

Or this for 95W processors

It uses a 3-pin connector not 4 so each time you boot the PC you have to go into BIOS & exit. I use this one and it works fine. Very quiet. Fits in a normal ATX case. Fan has a blue LED.

How would I attach any fan to the heat sink I have? It has to slide on to the heat sink

Google "hyper evo 212 replacement fan". Watch some videos.
LED fans to my heatsink
Just tape a led strip on your EVO 212 fan instead. Example:

that is ghetto lol. I found out the plastic pieces can be removed to put on a new fan but they dont sell those pieces or the fan with those pieces
