Do I need the bluetooth adapter for Plantronics 590A headset?

I have the Plantronics 590A headset, but I can't connect it my computer, however it didn't come with the bluetooth adapter! Do I need it? My computer has bluetooh.

I want to use it for online voice chat and music.

...yes... If it is a bluetooth set, with a specific Bluetooth Device, it would probably be a good thing to use unless your computer already has bluetooth and can recognize and install the necessary components to use the device itself.
