Do I need the same Ram for quad channel

So I have two sets of ram. Asking this because I got a free set. The first set is identical, but I wanted to know does the second set need to be identical to the first for quad channel? I have a G skillz Ripjaw series for one and another G skillz ripjaw series for the other, but they are not the exact same. If more information is needed let me know, tried to explain the situation fully but not sure if I did a great job.

No, it's enough for each set to be matched to have dual channel.
