Do I need to add thermal paste to my CPU?

So I just bought a new CPU (AMD FX-9590 Eight-Core 5.0Ghz), and an heatsink (Corsair Hydro Series H60)

There is a little thermal paste already on it ... Wondering if it's enough, or do I need to apply some more. I know I don't need to when it's an heatsink that comes with the CPU, but this is different.

And no, I don't have plans to overclock. I don't even know how to actually do that . . .

The amount already applied to the Hydro is all you need. You do not need to add any more. Enjoy the upgrades!

If you used it before then you should put new paste on. If not you can use it, but it's probably low quality.

Never used it before, but it was a refurbished unit. Looked totally new though.
