Do I need to Apply Thermal Paste on CPU too ? (AC 7 Pro)

Hi guys
newbie here. Just got me a DS-3, C2D e4300 and a AC 7 Pro (which has factory thermal paste on it).

So do I still need to put Thermal paste on the CPU side too?
