At least 8GB but I bought a 16GB because the store I went to didn't sell anything smaller. It worked just fine. Follow the link that USAFRetired provided you. He helped me with this recently. Pay attention to the part about creating a Microsoft account so if you end up switching out parts in your PC you will be able to reactivate your Windows 10 subscription.
