do i need to change an older motherboard to buy a new GPU

i have an old motherboard which is GA-B75M-D3V and im planing to upgrade my graphics card from GTX 660 to GTX 960 or even 1060 !!

do i need to change my mobo

note** the current process is i5 2500 and 16 Gb of rams

Should be just download the driver for the new card (don't install it yet) put in the new card, uninstall the old driver and install the new driver.

You may need a BIOS flash to support the nVidia 10 series of video cards..
