Question Do I need to connect all pins on my msi rtx 2070 armor

I have an 8 pin and a 6 pin do i need to connect all of them or just the 8 pin for the card to work

it is required, if the manual didn't said it is optional

You need to connect all of them for the GPU to work correctly.

Does your current PSU not have enough connections? If not then it needs to be replaced and I would avoid adapters.
