Do i need to disable my iGPU if i want to plug my gtx 760?

Hello, I hava a APU - a8-6600k, and i have read that i need to disable something in the bios to install my new gtx 760? is it true, something called intergrated graphics.If yes can you please list the steps ... this is new to me.


Edit: (found this on the internet) do not disable the onboard
just plug in the gpu, then plug monitor into the gpu, and install up to date drivers before you play any games
