do i need to do something before installing a dedicated graphics card on my a8 7600 APU

Solution

No, I'm pretty sure you just unplug the display adapter from the motherboard and put it into the GPU instead, which should automatically disable it. But just to make sure, check in the BIOS if it's still enabled for some strange reason. If so there should be a clear option to turn it off.

I always suggest downloading the drivers for your new card before you do anything else. This way, once you've switched cards and booted up to your desktop, you already have the drivers there ready to go.

If you are using integrated graphics, remember to connect your monitor to the new card's output and not the old output, and you might need to go into the motherboard bios to disable the integrated graphics too.

currently im using the built in graphics card of my a8 7600 apu so i will be installing a 750ti 2gb graphics soon.
Correct me if theres is something wrong on how to install the graphics card:
1. uninstall the driver of Amd radeon r7 graphics (AMD catalyst control center)
2. shut down PC
3. install the 750ti GPU to PCI slot
4. start pc
5. search driver on nvidia site then restart.
pls provide if i forgot something

Note: is it necessary to disable the integrated graphics via bios. if yes, how?

Yesssss! Run DDU to get rid of the updated drivers for the integrated graphics, then shut down. Plug in the video adapter to your GPU slot and go inside the BIOS to make sure the integrated graphics are disabled. Then install your graphics drivers like so.

when do I disable the integrated graphics? after uninstalling drivers?
