Do i need to enable virtualization?

Hello i have an amd cpu that support virtualization do i need to enable the virtualization or no will it make any performance boost if enabled or disabled and thank you so much and btw by default it is disabled i know the meaning of virtualization but i need to know if i should enable it or no

you only need it if you are running VMware or VirtualBox on your PC for example.
