No, Windows will give you the option to delete any existing partitions and format the drive during the install process.

I don't think the question was answered. When initializing and formatting a new M.2 PCIe SSD you are given options - NTSF, FAT32 and exFAT. I'm told to always stick with NTSF for Windows. But I'm no expert and herein acquiesce to brighter minds.
