Do I need to get a new computer part?

Hello! I built my own computer around a year ago, and it was able to run many games just fine and perfectly well. Recently, I've been noticing that games I commonly play such as Fortnite and Minecraft seem to be very laggy for me, which is quite odd as I was able to run them very well a couple months ago. I have also noticed in task manager that Chrome seems to be taking up a lot of my CPU usage for whatever reason, and this may be the culprit behind the laggy games, however I always need to have Chrome open, so closing it and not having it run isn't an option. Will I need to replace my CPU or GPU? My specs are:
AMD rx460
Intel i3-6100
Asrock H110M-ITX/AC motherboard

If I should update my specs, what parts would you recommend regarding performance and price? If it is a CPU I need to replace, what motherboard should I buy if applicable? etc.

Thanks!

How do I check the temp of my cpu/gpu?
I have 8gb of ram, 79% usage
Got an ssd aswell as a hard drive for extra space

Your current system is still sufficient for low-mid range gaming.

If the titles ran well enough recently, the issues you're experiencing likely come from driver/OS issues.

Are your drivers up to date (GPU from AMDs site, chipset etc from ASRock's) ?

Check Windows updates - have you recently had some of the latest larger patches install between everything being playable and now, when things are lagging?

Just updated my GPU and chipsets, I'll see if it gets any better. Have been pushing off the windows update for a bit, will let it update tonight when I am asleep. Will see how it goes and will update you. Thanks!
