[SOLVED] Do I need to invest in a better power supply?

Specs
CPU - Ryzen 5 2400g
GPU - RX Vega 11 Integrated Graphics
PSU - ATX Switching Power Supply, ATX-500B (500w)
MB - ASRock A320M-HMV
RAM - 8GB (only 6.93 usable? I have no idea if this is normal)

So im looking to upgrade some of my hardware and was wondering if the PSU would cut it or should I invest in a better one? Im looking into maybe upgrading to a 1660 and 16 gigs of ram and I know 500W would be more than enough but ive heard some pretty bad things about the ATX-500B. Im not super tech-savvy so can someone please give me some advice? I just want to make sure everything is going to work before I actually go and buy it.

Yes, you do for a dedicated GPU.

But to be clear, you don't need more wattage, you need more quality.

Which PSU to get will largely rely on your budget and location to know what the best option is at that time.

Good quality more than anything. Most of what you will see on the sellers site or packaging will not necessarily indicate how good it is or not. If it's UK there are some models easier to get than others here - for current prices I'd consider:

Total: £59.98 - 7 YEAR WARRANTY

Power Supply: SeaSonic CORE GM 500 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (£59.99 @ CCL Computers)
Total: £59.99 - 7 YEAR WARRANTY

You could get a CXM for £52 but when the 2 above are less than £10 more, it's a no brainer to get these. So I won't bother linking the CX.

Total: £65.34 - 5 YEAR WARRANTY

Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£79.91 @ More Computers)

If it were me, I'd go for the TXM, RMx or the Seasonic Focus. All excellent quality, RMx and Seasonic costs more but are better and you get more warranty.
