I built my rig on the intention of overclocking in the future.. I use my rig only for FPShooters and cruising the web and maybe buring a cd.. Is overclocking the chip a couple of mhz really going to show me any real world difference.. The reason I ask is that the graphics cards these days are pretty much handling all the load on these latest games...
Also the stock hsf with the cooper pipes is pretty damn good for some decent oc'd right?

x2 4800 stock
asus a8n32sli
2 gig twinx 3200 dual channel
74gig raptor
evga 7800 gtx
silverstone 600 watt
cm stacker 830

I'd say you should get a better hsf if you what to oc, stock is decent but you won't get a lot out of it and if you do you'l proabably burn it :x , sow just buy yourself a nice zalman and have fun with it  .

And it will be worth it if you can push it like 400 mhz higher(again, too much for stock cooler). OOOH i just noticed the memory, oc would of been much better with some 550mhz, even 500mhz ram and you'l get a headache will all those memory dividers and multipliers :( , i know i did  .

For my Pentium D 805 every 30 MHz gave it a 1% increase in speed. I have it at 3.6GHz right now and it has a 33% increase over the 2.66GHz default clock speed.
