Do I need to plug in front panel usb 2?

Hi,

Im about to power on for the firs ttime on a new build. Except a slight issue. I have an NZXT Hue+. It needs an internal usb 2.0.

Problem is I only have one 2.0 header on the mobo (formula viii)
If i dont need the 2.0 functionality on the case or back i/o, could i just not connect the case 2.0 lead and use the header for the hue?

You won't have working front ports , but no big deal.

Just no working 2.0 ports right? The 3.0 ports will work because I have that plugged in. Right? I;m ok with no 2.0 ports as I don't use any devices that use 2.0 anyway.

Yes should be fine , just no functional 2.0 fronts.
