Hello, I have all of the parts required to build my new PC except the power supply, can I build the PC now and install the power supply when I get it, or must I put the power supply in first?

Thanks, TheMineBot

Solution
Without the power supply you wont be able to power it up. Yesh you can put everything in your case and put the Power supply later! Thats what most people do.
From an Ocd cable management point of view the Psu goes in first after any cutting drilling and modding has been done,
cables are laid in place then components fitted to them
normal people install the Psu whenever they like some before and some afterwards,
as long as you arent going nuts then afterwards should be fine

That depends. If it's a top mount psu and you have a large air cooler mounted to your cpu, then no it won't fit afterwards. In that situation you'll have to mount the psu first, then mount the motherboard with cpu cooler attached underneath it. This is also assuming you don't have a cut out in the back panel of the motherboard tray. Even if you do, the air cooler will have to be removed to make room for a top mounted psu in most cases. If it's a bottom mount psu, then you can install everything and put the psu in last.
