Do I need to reinstall/repair windows if I'm upgrading my Mobo and CPU?

Im upgrading from an old 2008 Acer Mobo and Amd x4 9150e to an Asus Sabertooth 990fx and Amd fx8350?? I have new ram and everything I just want to know if I have to clean install windows or can i just repair it??

You might or might not be able to boot from an existing Windows install, but for best performance after a mobo/cpu swap I would do a clean install.
