This is a part two to the previous question.

I am not planning to upgrade the cpu or motherboard. Only planning to upgrade my case.

I was thinking of tranferring my motherboard to my new mid tower case.

The CPU use the stock fan and heat sink from AMD.

Since I just going to removing the motherbroad with the CPU attach with the stock fan and heatsink, I figuere that I don't need to even touch the CPU itselt.

Any advice?

Thank in advanced

If you are using stock AMD fan and heatsink combo, you do not even need to remove the heatsink. Keep the heatsink and fan and CPU and even RAM and transfer to the new case. Do remove all cables from the PSU and hard drives and etc. and the video card and all add-in cards before moving.
