The case in question is a RAIDMAX Seiran ATX-902WB.

This is will be my first CPU cooler swap and I'm a little squirrely with the idea as I don't want to screw anything up.

Solution
No, you may have to replace the back-plate behind the motherboard (other side of case) and the brackets on the front of the motherboard for the Noctua, (the noctua brackets and back-plate are better so I would use them.)

No you should be able to access everything you need through the large CPU cutout on the motherboard tray. However you might find it easier to thoroughly remove all the old cooler's thermal paste by removing the motherboard completely - I know I do and it isn't much hassle for me.
