Question Do I need to retrim my SSD?

Hi. I'm running Windows 10, using a Crucial SSD as my C (apps) drive. I haven't looked for a while to see if my D: drive needed optimizing, so I opened "Optimize Drives" For the C: drive there's this message: "Needs optimization (467 days since last retrim)" What should I do?

By default, optimization/trim/defrag is ON by default.

If you have previously turned it OFF, turn it back on.

Trim now. Set a schedule. Check per your schedule to verify it happened. Relax.
