Do i really need to spend $80 and up on a keyboard and mouse to have a good gaming experience or will an average or slightly above average keyboard and mouse be ok? I do not play online and i do not intend to, i just play games such as Skyrim Assassins Creed, and games with great stories behind it. I will be getting the Corsair Vengeance K70 Red Cherry MX with Gun Metal Finish and Red backlight and the Logitech G502 gaming mouse but i am not getting these two things until December because of my Christmas bonus! YAYYYYY :D but my CPU cam in a while back ago and my GPU is coming in between now and the first week of October and i won't have any mouse or keyboard to play it with and i was wondering if i should buy the Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator mouse and keyboard combo since it has great review and also "VERY" cheap at only $29.99 and even has a backlit light. Should i get it or just wait until december when i get my main mouse and keyboard. I was going to get my mouse and keyboard November but i was getting my monitor.

I dont realy kow about the quality. but I read a little review, it was in dutch sadly enough so it's not much use to you. but they were having the same doubts as me.(about the quality and the "low" price" but they said that it is decent quality. so I think you're good to go with that.

I have a dell keyboard... and I've been gaming/working with it for over 8 years now and it still works perfectly.
I once tried a razer mouse, and it broke after a year. the RMB would doubleclick so I got myself a cheaper gigabyte "gaming" mouse (I wanted a mouse with 2 sidebuttons) and this one has been quite good till now(I've only been using it for 1.5 years)

so no...to experience gaming you dont need special equipment.
if you are a competitive gamer, if you do alot of contests on high level, you might want some more advanced gear ;)
