Do I need to test my western digital black hdds with crystaldiskmark ?

I'm runing Windows 10 on my SSD and my games and media on my 2 WD black hard drives do I need to run the crystaldiskmark software to make sure the drives run at full speed and healthy ? Can that tool damage Windows files ?
