[SOLVED] Do I need to update my BIOS i5-4460 upgdraded to i7-4790

Hey so I recently purchased an i7-4790 from an i5-4460, below is an image of CPU-Z or if you can't see the image:

Motherboard: H81M-HDS R2.0
VERSION: P1.30

Do I need to upgrade my BIOS? I really don't want to as I could seriously damage my PC and also I forgot my BIOS password lol. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

No you don't have to. Also, you can reset your bios. There should be some jumper on the motherboard. Check on how to reset bios jumper on your specific motherboard xd.

You are probably 30 times more likely to break something swapping CPUs then doing a BIOS update.
