It takes an extreme amount for me to upgrade my PC so I really don't want to waste cash upgrading something over another if it's not extremely important yet because of the import costs, duty, etc. For example, if I wanted to buy an Intel - Core i7-6700K, it'd be $600 of my currency, plus a 30% import/duty cost and another $100 to have it shipped here... So... you see it's critical I plan my purchases...

This is my current build:

CPU: intel Core i5-6500
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z-170
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

2 x 4GB RAM
1 x 250 GB SSD
1 x 1TB HDD
2 x 500GB HDD

I really want to play PC games but it tends to freeze .. even using youtube freezes sometimes. Maybe I just need to do a cleanup, or maybe something is being bottlenecked... Any assistance would be great..

To give you an idea of what I'd really like to play atm: Black Ops 4 which plays somewhat fine, but has its moments -- Assassins Creed Odyssey -- Fortnite which is sometimes slow...

Solution
There really is no bottleneck. It's a very balanced system. The only thing I see is:
"2 x 4GB RAM". So you have a total of 8GB? That's really the minimum you should run nowadays if you plan on playing modern games. (older games is ok with 8)

Consider getting another 2 sticks for a total of 16GB (get the same speed memory that you have now)
There shouldn't be any freezes. Maybe reinstall drivers, or last resort reinstall Windows.

AC Odyssey uses a LOT of video memory. So, the GTX 1060 3GB doesn't do well with it. Overwatch should run great though, not sure what's going on there.

I would suggest checking your CPU temperature during idle and while gaming.

Before you upgrade ANYTHING you need to find out what's going on with your PC.

^This should not be happening with your current setup. I'd hate to see you spend money only to find out you're still having issues.

I would just like to point out that upgrading RAM did wonders... The game feels super fluid now even though the CPU is showing 100% in the task manager. All temps seem normal..Might need an upgrade, but probably sometime in the future.
