Do I need to upgrade bios?

Will I need to upgrade my bios? I currently have an i5 4460 and I am upgrading to an i7 4790k. I also have an asrock h97 anniversary motherboard.

no you will not since it is a z97 chipset board and the newest for socket 1150

Both chips are compatible with BIOS P1.30 , so you should be fine.
