Do i need to upgrade motherboard

Hi am kind of new to the pc world so am learning on the go. I have recently upgarded my cpu from the i5 6400 to i7 7700k everything is work but i wondering if the my motherboard is hold back the potential of the new cpu am not intending to overclock . The motherboard i have is H110M S2H

my setup is

I7 7700k cpu
Gtx 1060 3gb wf
16gb RAM
1TB Hardrive

I am also considering upgrading the RAM not in size but in speed as i think mine os only ddr2 or ddr3

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

You cant use DDR2 or 3 on this mobo. It only supports DDR4 ram

Fairone would it still be worthwhile investing in faster Ram then

If you are not intending to overclock, what you have is fine.
Also, there is very little performance to be gained from faster ram.

If you have upgrade budget burning a hole in your pocket, install a ssd for windows.

Depends. What is your RAM speed?

You have a H110M motherboard and a 7700k, which is a bad combo considering the mobo is locked and that CPU is unlocked. Waste of money.

Get an SSD.

Edit: Had not refreshed so did not see Geofelt's message. Geofelt has some good points.
