I have an HP desktop that was fairly high end when I purchased it. HP Model h9-1120t.
I've upgraded it over the years. We deal with alot of photos and video. Have the Adobe suite of products before they went to the cloud based subscription.
I've got a 1 TB SSD drive for the operating system.
A 4 TB hard-drive .
A 3rd drive that is 14 TB that has all our photos and videos.
i7-3770 processor.
32 GB RAM

Graphics cards is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti.

Looking to move to the latest version of Lightroom Classic, and it calls for DirectX 12, which this GPU does not support.

Should upgrade my graphics card, or is it time to upgrade this desktop that is around 10 years old.

No issues with the computer at the current time.

Don't know which parts are 10 years old. I'd be inclined to replace any that were.

Quite possibly keep nothing but the drives.

Are all of those drives internal?

Do you have ALL personal files backed up to an external? To one of those internals? Not at all?

If budget allows, I'd wean myself off of spinning hard drives if at all feasible.
