So I have a very old power supply that’s still running perfectly fine, and now I'm going to be getting a new gpu, 4080 super/6800 xt/4070 to super aero are all I'm looking at.

My question is will my old PSU handle it? It’s a cooler master thunder M 620W. It’s so old I don’t even see it on websites to check compatibility for the GPUs I’m eyeing to get.

Yes, you need to change.

For example, for the 4080 Super, a 750w minimum is suggested.
Add in age...its a no brainer.

I wouldn't run those with my seasonic built Fractal Ion 650w gold, much less an old 620w CM PSU of questionable quality.
Wait, what? SeaSonic builds Fractals? Nice.

No, for two reasons. One, there isn't enough power and two, the old PSU has degraded over time. It doesn't deliver the stated 620w, and it's unsafe to use.

What is your budget and prefered merchant?

For a 4080 Super, you want something equally good when it comes to power supply:
be quiet! Dark Power 13 850 W
SeaSonic FOCUS GX-850 ATX 3.0 850 W

No, Sirfa/High Power is the OEM of the Fractal ION Gold.

You definitely need to replace this very old group regulated unit for an ATX3.0 PSU. 850w is what you need. The best are listed here https://hwbusters.com/best_picks/best-atxv3-pcie5-ready-psus-picks-hardware-busters/3/

Mine is an SFX unit, built by Seasonic.

Fractal Design has partnered with Seasonic to be their OEM and the Ion SFX power supplies are backed by a 10-year warranty.

That's correct but you did not mention SFX in your previous post. https://www.fractal-design.com/products/power-supplies/ion/ion-gold-650w/black/ is made by Sirfa/High Power.
