Hi all,

I just wanted to know if I'd need to upgrade my PSU for an RTX 3080.

PC specs:
PSU: Corsair RM650X, 650w 80+ gold
CPU: Intel i7 8700 (non k)
Mobo: MSI B360 Gaming Plus
Intended GPU: MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i RGB Platinum 240mm AIO
Memory: 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666mhz RAM
Storage: 1TB Samsung 970 Evo NVME SSD, 500GB Samsung 850 Evo SATA SSD,
2TB WD Black HDD
Fans: 3 Corsair 140mm ML Fans

I'm aware Nvidia is recommending a 750w supply, but would be alright with my PSU?
Considering it's a pretty decent PSU and my CPU is locked and can't overclock.

Solution
Yes, it's enough and you'll even have room to spare.
Considering that your 8700 has only a 65W TDP and the RM650x is a great quality PSU, you'll even have OCing headroom for the 3080.
