Hey guys, I currently have a Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 550W running:

i5 4570
HD 7770
10 GB DDR3
2 HDD's
One Combo Drive

I am looking to upgrade my GPU to either a GTX 960 or a R9 380. Will I need to buy a new PSU to do that? I am not going to have a lot of money after the GPU upgrade so I need to know if it's 100% necessary to save up longer and buy a Corsair VS650 PSU at the same time.

Thank you

Well the CM 550 would be enough for a 960 I would recommend you replace just because its not very good. Neither is the corsair vs650 for that matter. I would recommend one of these if you want something good without breaking the bank.
