[SOLVED] Do i need to upgrade my psu

So PC specs:

CPU Ryzen7 2700x;
GPU RX580;
RAM 4x 8gb corsair vengeance pro 3000mhz quad channel;
MB Asrock b450 pro4, x1 240mm
Arctic freezer II AIO, x4 120mm case fans.

You should also keep in my mind i plan to use the pc for competitive gaming(10-12hours a day) with high end keyboard, mouse, headphones and soundcard. Also the psu was in use for a year in my old pc(rx580 , i5 6600, 2x8gb 2666mhz).


So I already have a corsair rm650x (650w 80+gold) . Ive tried many psu calculators that say my configuration is shy over 570w but recommend me a 750w psu. So is my 650w psu enough or should i sell it and get a 750w one?

It's enough, don't sweat it. As long as your PC doesn't suddenly shut down and you have no issues, there's no need to replace it.

Well i want to make sure i dont get to that point because that would make me freak out pretty bad. Also for future reference if i do get a rx5700 or vega64 i must upgrade the psu right?

Going 750W or above would be wise in that case. Don't worry, with your current rig you will be alright. Even if you get to that point, which is highly unlikely unless you do some heavy overclocking, I doubt any damage will occur.

Cool then ill just keep it as is for now(probably a year or two) and get a 750w whenever i plan on upgrading the gpu. Also no I wont do any overclocking maybe a very light oc once i get a good AIO. thanks
