Question Do i need to use DDU when I swap same GPU ?

Hello my gpu is being warranty replaced because the fan is broken and it will be available tomorrow.in my previous gpu AMD XTX i already installed andrenalin and driver update .the question is if the new XTX arrive did i need to DDU first the andrenaline with another gpu lets say store gtx 960 or just put the new xtx and will it automatically detect the driver or can it cause conflict?

You're advised to use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) before you swap GPU's, then manually install the latest GPU driver meant for your GPU chip sourced from GPU chip maker's support site.

Run DDU before you take the AMD GPU out, then drop in the GTX960, install the latest drivers for it in an elevated command. When you get the AMD GPU in, run DDU again, power down the system, remove the GTX960 and then drop in the AMD GPU, install the latest GPU driver sourced from AMD's support site and you should be good to go.
