So, as you may guess, i kinda love playing videogames. I owned a desktop pc with used parts, sold it, now my daily driver is a Lenovo t440p (16 gb ram, i7 4800mq, gt 730). I play e-sports games like CSGO and i would like to try some AAA titles, and since I sold my old computer I really want to build one with some new shiny parts, the whole pc is around 910 euro. Now my question: Do I really need a new computer PC?

PS: With my thinkpad, the gaming in 720p is okay....

Solution
AAA gaming does require a decent pc. Most laptops can play some games to a degree but more demanding titles would require a laptop built for gaming.

A desktop pc isn't constrained for space like a laptop is and a pc isn't hampered by heat dissipation.

But, the new consoles coming out actually are quite powerful.

The best way is to test it out. I don't expect that you'll have a pleasant experience on AAA titles, however.
