Hey guys so i have a i53570k stock wich is 3.8 ghz turbo speed usually but with the board that i have wich is the Asus p8z77 V LX it can overclock it automaticly to 4.2 ghz but the problem is is when i stress test i get high high tempratures like 85 degrees C even do i have a H80i and i mean does the stress test matter cause neither of any games i play is a bottleneck with 100% so should i stick with 3.8 its acctualyy 3.6 acording to Cupid Z or 4.2 ghz Thanks ! For now, just check that the thumb screws on the water cooler's pump are tight. They may have loosened over time and heat.

You shut down and turn off the PC at the PSU. Then you touch some bare metal first to discharge any static that you may have built up. Then you see if you can twist the 4 thumb screws any tighter with your fingers. If not, then that isn't the issue.
