Do i upgrade my pc

is it worth to upgrade my pc, and if so are my motherboard capable of optimal performance running new hardware.

Processor: Intel Core i7-870
Motherboard Model: MSI P55-GD85 (MS-7585)
Ram: 16GB PC3 12800
Grafik Kort: nVIDIA GeForce GTX 570

your cpu getting a old story right now

i7-870 = fx 6300 in performance...

the gpu gtx 570 = r9 270 in performance approx...

so you got a old setup but you still able to play games at medium setting..

if i was you , i will save more money and build a new rig in the futur , because is not futur proof

Depends on what it's for,but i think most of it is still very good and capable.For games on the best settings could you upgrade the gpu,the r9 290 from amd or the gtx 970 come to mind depending on prices..The cpu would i try to overclock and for that would you need a decent cooler.
